How Much?

The classroom and pool portion of Louisville Dive Center’s beginning scuba courses costs $195 for regular group classes and $295 for private lessons. Open water training dives, if you do them with us (recommended), are $100. These prices include:

• All instruction.
• Pool admission.
• Use of wet suits, BCs, regulators, tanks and weights.
• Certification card processing fees.
• DAN Insurance during training.

Students are responsible for providing:

• Student kit with text, DVD, logbook and dive tables ($59.95).
• The personal equipment listed on the What Equipment Will You Need? page.
• Swim suit, towel and other personal items as needed.
• Admission to our local open-water training site ($20/day) or the costs associated with any group trips to Florida or any other dive destination.

Important: Be aware that, if you elect to complete your open water training at a destination of your own choosing, you will be responsible for paying any fees the dive operator at that destination charges for this service. These will vary by dive operator and destination. You can avoid paying any additional fees by completing all of your training with us.
