Crystal River

February 12-15: Our President’s Day weekend trip is a great way to break the mid-winter blues. Not only is the water crystal clear but it boasts a year round temperature of 72 degrees. Did we mention there were manatees as well? As a matter of fact there are hundreds of them that call Crystal River home. These gentle giants love the warm shallow waters of Crystal River and we know you will too.
Who is This Trip Ideal For?

This may be the perfect trip if you:
- Are looking for an affordable, long-weekend getaway.
- Want to swim with manatees.
- Need to complete open-water training dives.
- Want to experience the best of north-central Florida diving.
When Does It Take Place?

Here is the schedule:
- Thursday, February 11: We drive down. This is about a 12-hour drive; carpooling saves money and makes the ride more fun.
- Friday, February 12: We will dive either Devil’s Den or Manatee Springs, then move on to Crystal River, where we will spend the night.
- Saturday, February 13:Dive King's Springs or Three Sisters in Crystal River. We do an afternoon dive on Rainbow River with a night dive there that evening
- Sunday, February 14: We snorkel with the manatees in the morning at Homossassa Springs and the afternoon is left open.
- Monday, February 15: We drive back to Louisville.
How Much Does it Cost?

Pricing is $395 per diver, based on double occupancy. The trip fee is due at sign up.
What Is and Is Not Included?

The trip price includes:
- Three nights’ accommodations.
- Dive site admission and boat fees.
- Air fills.
Divers are responsible for:
- Transportation.
- Meals.
- All equipment, including one tank per diver.
- Any applicable open-water training fees.
