This course also provides a foundation of knowledge and skills for those interested in pursuing training in Technical Diving.

Upon successful completion, you’ll proudly hold the highly coveted Master Scuba Diver card, a respected certification in recreational diving.

Pre-requisites:
- Minimum of 15 years or older
- Advanced Open Water certification
- Rescue Diver certification
Required Dives
- Emergency Procedures and Rescue
- Deep/Simulated Decompression Diving
- Limited Visibility or Night Diving
- Underwater Navigation – Search and Recovery – Light Salvage

Please note: A $250 fee will apply for no-shows or reschedules made within 48 hours of the course.
Students are required to provide their own gear, or rent from the Louisville Dive Center at the student's expense.
Other required gear include: a compass, a DSMB or lift bag, a reel or finger spool, appropriate lights for night diving, and a slate or wet notes.
Training Assistant
If you possess the desire to assist in the training of other divers, a NAUI Training Assistant specialty course might be for you. This course will qualify you in the skills and knowledge necessary to perform as a training assistant during NAUI diver training courses overseen by an active-status NAUI Instructor.
As a certified NAUI Training Assistant, you will be qualified to temporarily directly supervise students while an instructor conducts skills with other students; escort students on the surface or on underwater tours; and assist an active-status NAUI Instructor with other tasks, all under the direction of a NAUI Instructor.
As a NAUI Training Assistant, you will learn more about underwater navigation, communications, how to escort and assist divers during an open water training dives and how to assist with problem management during diver training evolutions.
Please note: The prerequisites for TA are a minimum age of 18 years, an Advanced Scuba Diver certification, and a Rescue Scuba Diver certification (with current BLS/O2 certifications).
Students are required to provide their own equipment, or rent at the student's expense from the Louisville Dive Center.
