Central Archipelago, Darwin And Wolf Islands GPS - GPS

Imagine a place so wild and remote that it shaped one of the most groundbreaking scientific theories of all time! Welcome to the Galápagos Islands—a breathtaking paradise straddling the Equator in the vast Pacific Ocean. These legendary islands have fascinated explorers, scientists, and adventurers alike since Charles Darwin set foot here in 1835. On a mission to study the one-of-a-kind creatures that call this place home, Darwin’s observations led to his famous theory of evolution by natural selection.

What makes the Galápagos so extraordinary? Its extreme isolation—sitting 1,000 km off the coast of Ecuador—combined with the meeting of three powerful ocean currents and a landscape shaped by ongoing volcanic activity. The result? A living laboratory filled with bizarre and beautiful wildlife found nowhere else on Earth. Get ready for an unforgettable journey into a world where nature reigns supreme!

Join us at the Louisville Dive Center on June 10th at 5pm to learn more about the Galapagos Islands and this once-in-a-lifetime trip!
