Underwater Navigation
Divers have a deep fascination with navigation, as it enables them to return to memorable dive sites and find ideal exit points without the hassle of a lengthy surface swim. The SDI Underwater Navigation Specialty course is designed to help you master the skills needed to navigate confidently underwater.
Throughout this course, you’ll discover how simple navigation can be and how it benefits you both above and below the surface. You will explore natural aids like sand ripples and reef formations that can guide your route. Additionally, while tools like mechanical and digital compasses may seem challenging at first, we’ll equip you with the practical skills and techniques needed to use them effectively.
