Yes. That’s exactly what the YAE program is for. It provides foundational knowledge and pool skills now, with a defined bridge into Junior Open Water after the 10th birthday.
Will my child repeat e-learning later?
Phase 2 includes the standard NAUI Open Water e-learning that aligns with the rest of the group’s coursework.
Can we schedule checkout dives as a family?
Yes. We can coordinate October or November checkout weekends so everyone finishes together.
What if we miss the 120-day window?
A $100 refresher is required to reset the 120-day countdown before completing checkout dives.
Who teaches the YAE sessions?
Kaycee is our Young Explorers instructor and works closely with families to ensure a smooth transition to Junior Open Water.
