First Annual Halloween Dive Party at LDC (thank goodness its a Saturday)!

Celebrate Halloween underwater at the Louisville Dive Center! Join us for a full night of diving, costumes, snacks, and a little underwater suspense.

We’re kicking off the evening with trick-or-treating and pumpkin carving, followed by two waves of Halloween NIGHT Dives to give everyone plenty of time and space to enjoy the pool. Once the diving wraps up, we’ll bring everyone together for our costume contest before finishing the night with Jaws in the Pool.

Come dressed to impress—or terrify—and plan to spend Halloween night with us!

TRICK-OR-TREAT & PUMPKIN CARVING

FREE | 5:30–7:30 PM

Start Halloween night with some fun above the water! Join us at the Dive Center for trick-or-treating and pumpkin carving before the diving begins.

Bring the kids, family, and friends—you don’t have to be a diver to join the fun! Come dressed in costume, make your way around the Dive Center for treats, and carve a pumpkin with us.

Want to carve? Bring your own pumpkin, and we’ll provide a space to get creative before the Open Dives begin.

Stay for a little while or make a whole night of it and stick around for the Open Dives, costume contest, and Jaws in the Pool later that evening.

OPEN DIVES

$50 | 7:30–10:30pm

To keep plenty of room in the pool, Open Dive spots will be divided into two waves with limited availability in each session.

WAVE 1 | 7:30–9:00 PM
The first group of divers takes over the pool.

WAVE 2 | 9:00–10:30 PM
Our second group gets their turn underwater.

Choose your preferred Open Dive time when registering. Space is limited to approximately 10–12 divers per wave, so advance registration is strongly encouraged and people may be turned away if we feel we are at max capacity.

Please be considerate of other divers and register for only ONE Open Dive Wave at this time. If additional space is available as we get closer to the event, we’ll open up the opportunity to register for a second wave.

Costumes are highly encouraged! We’ll bring everyone together before the movie and award SCUBA prizes for:

You’re welcome to get creative—just remember that costumes are for the party, not necessarily for diving, but can be FOR BOTH!

JAWS IN THE POOL

$10 | 10:30pm-12:30am

Once the Open Dives are finished, it’s time for the main event.

At approximately 10:30 PM, we’ll start Jaws and watch it from the pool.

Want to bring a friend who doesn’t dive? Bring them! You don’t have to be a certified diver to join us for the Halloween party or watch Jaws. Non-diving friends are welcome to hang out poolside or in the pool and enjoy the movie with us. 

What to bring:

• Bring a lawn chair for poolside viewing (if you'd like to stay dry).
• Bring a pool floaty or noodle for in-water viewing. Keep in mind only so many round floaties will fit in the pool (OR use your BCD!).

The movie will run until approximately 12:30 AM.
